I work at KLIT. ARFF guy. There was someone that had Lockheed like this one parked here for years. Over the course of about a month, he put new engines in it and to our surprise flew it out of here. It was just odd. It was here for so long untouched and then gone.
He said he was taking it down to Florida to be restored. Cool plane.
